This picture shows a frothy Strawberry Lemonade because sparkling water had just been added and it was vigorously stirred 🙂
Once upon a time I joined a Yoga Group. This group had been gathering for a decade or more for an evening of Yoga followed by salad and long chatty conversations. By the time I joined the group though, the Yoga instructor had moved, the cassette tape player of her recoded sessions had broken, and Yoga had been replaced with upper body massage and a masseuse.
I had never had a massage before, and a friend suggested I join their “Yoga Group” for a weekly massage. I did. The group’s name never changed, it was always their Yoga Group and never their Massage Group. So I went to “Yoga” every Wednesday for a long, long time.
The Yoga Group always met at Millie’s house. We all brought ingredients for the world’s largest tossed salad—ok, ok…so maybe it was the largest tossed salad in a private home Milpitas on Wednesday evenings 🙂 There was often bread and cake with hot tea for dessert, and sometimes we were treated to Millie’s Strawberry Lemonade with our salad.
Covid, and Millie’s passing, brought an end to Yoga Group, but Millie’s Strawberry Lemonade lives on!
